This regenerative treatment center guide relies on government records and medical-board standards. The links below answer different questions; no single badge or list answers them all.

FDA · Medicine made to order

Compounding and the FDA: Questions and Answers (compounding means making medicine to order)

Use this for the difference between an approved finished medicine and medicine that a pharmacy or physician prepares to order, known as compounded medicine.

FDA · Patient advice

Understanding the Risks of Compounded Drugs

Use this for what the FDA does not review before a made-to-order drug is sold.

FSMB · Telemedicine

Appropriate Use of Telemedicine Technologies

This “model policy” is an example for state medical boards, not a law by itself. Use it to learn about clinician licences, questions asked before an online visit, follow-up and the quality of care required.

FSMB · Prescribing

Guidance on Recent Trends in Prescribing and Dispensing (guidance means advice, not law)

Use this advice from the Federation of State Medical Boards (the umbrella body for every state’s medical board) for its view of treatment menus, care sold directly to patients and patient questions.

FDA · Facility check

Registered Outsourcing Facilities (larger medicine-making facilities)

Use this list to see whether a larger facility that makes medicines under conditions meant to keep out germs completed the federal registration step. A listing is not an FDA approval of the facility or of what it makes.

United States Code, prescription drug rules

Use this page of federal law for the rule that a prescription drug may be given out only with a valid prescription.

How to read the record

A source can confirm one thing and leave another open.

A licence confirms a current public record. Registration shows that a person or facility completed a registration step. FDA approval belongs to a specific finished product and use.

Read the date

A current page can still describe an older policy or collection of records. Copy the two labels shown: one attached to the source material and another attached to the web page.

Check what the source covers

A federal rule may not settle a state question. A sample policy from a medical-board group may guide states without being the law in every state.

Read the exact product

A broad word like “peptide,” meaning a small chain made from the same building pieces the body uses to make proteins, cannot tell you whether a finished product is approved, made to order or unapproved.

Read the claim

A warning letter records what an agency says may be wrong and why. It is not the same as a court judgment, but it is a reason to pause and check the seller.
